Join area United Methodists in a day of volunteering across Johnson City. Show Johnson City We Care. And on one day we will... Please register! *All Youth Volunteers (under 18) must be registered by and accompanied by an adult during the event day. Adults, please check on your registration form that you would like to register a youth and the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you. FREE T-SHIRTS will be provided for all volunteers ages 14 and over. Available sizes are adult Small-4XL. Please indicate on your registration what size shirt you will need. Younger volunteers are encouraged to wear a solid red t-shirt on the day of the event. What to prepare for:Bring a friend. There are opportunities for all ages and abilities, including: feeding, building, caring, cleaning and greening, and repairing.
At each site, we will have a registration desk, where you should check in. There you will receive a medical release form and your t-shirt. If you are working outside, you will need to provide your own sunscreen, bug spray, hats or protective clothing, etc. A sack lunch will be provided at those sites that will be working from 9 am - 4 pm. |
